It's been awhile...

So I realize that its now a different year than when I started...and it has been awhile...
Last time you heard about my pet, incase you were wondering, she is as wonderful as ever (I bet you still wish you had a pet as cool as mine ;) )

I hardly know where to start. Or what to actually write about... the perpetual state of disaster my bedroom is in...it looks like it got hit by a tornado...every two weeks when I do laundry so that I have clean scrubs for work, it gets tidied back to a neat organized manner in which I can see the floor...If I am lucky, it will look like that for two days....  I just dont have the motivation to clean it up everyday, and i am continuously running late, so if I took the time to put things away while I was getting ready for whatever it is I am running out the door for I would actually be late...despite the sound of it, I am almost always ontime for work, in fact I have only been late the day I thought my schedule was differnt than it was... other than that I manage to make it just in time... as for other things in life...well... I run late... Oh well, pretty sure my friends understand...I have always been this way...

To. Be. Continued.

My Favorite Pet.

This is my pet. Her name is Banana-Belle FrodighinHopper.

Don't let this ferocious picture scare you.....

She is actually a  pretty classy pet.....

But sometimes  she forgets she is the pet and tries to have pets of h
er own....like this...

However she is very earth friendly in her habits and is very good at recycling.....
But awe look, Isn't she so so beautiful. She is the best pet ever.
The End.

Just keep swimming....or just keep not sinking ?

So in case you were wondering, the smell went away, and I never found a mouse. (Much to my relief). I am pretty sure it was just the trash.

Funny how being tired, even when you don't recognize the fact that you are utterly exhausted that you can hardly handle the simplest of tasks. Like getting in the shower...and forget laundry that is going to have to wait another two weeks (better hope you have clean underwear, and enough things to wear to work.) You go to work, you come home you try to chill out for an hour, you realize you have to eat, but you really don't have the energy to cook, even though you like to, so you find something to eat, go back to your room, check your email, pay your bills, go to bed and start all over again at 5:30 am...beep...beep...beep...snooze.... Fortunately for me, my alarm goes off every 5 minutes so that you have to get up eventually...or unfortunately? Its obnoxious, but I wouldn't make it to work otherwise.

Pause (beause since I started these thoughts it has been several days, and many things have since transpired.)

Exhaustion. Get up, go to class or work or a combination of the two, 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. I come home around 3:30 usually so tired I don't think I can do anything. The funny part is that at like 9am, after the coffee kicks in I am wide awake and making a list of all the things I need to get done. Also wishing that I was not in class so that i could do them, since everything is open at 9am. By the time I get home at 3:30 I am so worn out, and tired, all I want to do is sit and watch a movie. Talk about lazy. I feel so lazy, I don't want to do the dishes, the laundry, make food, eat food, tidy my room, or even move the pile of junk off of my bed so that I can get into it by 9pm. I, am an old woman. Thats right, at the ripe old age of almost 23....tomorrow...

I am sorry to have left you in suspence about the mouse for so long. But be reassured that Rainbow brite will be included in my future stories. I think there was a lot more I wanted to write here...and add to this, but it has been almost a month now since I started it and I can't remember what I had in mind, and so much has happened since then, that I shall leave it as is, and start a fresh one sometime when I have time to write an entire post.

Goodnight sweethear well its time to go...

I think I have a mouse...

...and I need someone to come and get it out of my room for me.

She walked into her room on a Friday night, 10pm, just got home from watching a movie with a friend. Exhausted from a long day of class, ready to crash. She stumbles into her room to put down her purse and get ready for bed. "Something does NOT smell right in here... What happened to my Kiwi air freshener...It can't be gone already, it always smells good in here..." she thought to herself. "...Oh NO it couldn't be could it ?" The first thought to cross her mind is....Dead mouse. Gross. "Oh man that smells bad, where is it coming from? I am so tired, I just want to go to bed, please, please God don't let there be a dead mouse in my room..." All she can think now is, what if it really was a mouse she heard rustling in the giant zip lock bags of winter clothes, stored in the corner, that she hear moving two weeks ago. Her roomate had even asked if there was a mouse too, she had also hear a rustling a few days later. However she had talked herself out of that notion rather quickly, "No, its not a mouse, don't be ridiculous. You live on the second floor, and there isn't any food or water in your room, you can't possibly have a mouse, it was just the bags sliding from the things you laid on top of them." A month later she walks into a room that smells, dare she think it, like a mouse died in there. "What am I going to do now. I can't possible move all of the stuff in my tornado zone of a bedroom tonight to look for a dead mouse. I really really don't have it in me to do that now. I will do it tomorrow. First thing, I will get up shower, and clean my room, really really well. I will box up everything I have been meaning to box up for two months and move it to the basement. Then it will be clean, and there will be no more nesting holes for mice, and if there is a dead mouse I will find it, and if not, I hope that smell goes away....gross..." And she can think is, "What if there really is a dead mouse?...I don't get queasy very easily, but I wish I had someone to call to come and get it out for me..."

How the the smell of possible dead mouse turned this single girls mind into another reason to long for a man, is not as absurd as it seems. The two guys closest by love animals too much, and might cry at the sight of dead mouse, and the other guys are not really close enough of friends to call and say, hey I think there is a mouse in my room dead somewhere would you please come over and help me find it...I can't face this alone... Most of them also have girlfriends, so it is awkward to just call them up, and pretty much everyone else would tell her to "suck it up and deal with it"....and she would think, "I have been doing that my whole life, please just come help me..."

The emotions that loneliness brings, and the things that remind someone they are "alone" in the sense of not having a significant other seem to the non-single ridiculous because they cannot remember that feeling anymore. However they are not ridiculous...they are very very Honest.

...Please Please don't be a dead mouse in my room...And couldn't you send me someone to call to come and get it out for me...if it really is there... it's kind of sad and gross at the same time, and just not fun to do by yourself...this moment, was a lesson for today...a reminder of the struggle of being on your own, grown up, and single, and the desire for someone you trust enough to ask to come get a dead mouse out from behind your bed, that won't judge you, and will love you all the more for it...
